06:27 pm I have taken to ironing, doing laundry, sitting on the front porch with the cat, tea, and a gang of books, and picking tomatoes. All because I have no car. I've been doing food preparation-type things at work lately, too. I am not wearing an apron or lipstick, however.
I can do neat things with an espresso machine now, not to mention a blender and a drive-thru headset.
John's mom and stepdad have skipped the time zones fantastic and will be in New Mexico for the next two weeks, doing folksy and antique-type things. Meanwhile, I get to feed Socks, spend a lot of evenings here by myself while John delivers pizza for roughly $12 an hour counting tips, and talk to Anne whenever she picks me up from work when it rains. I've taken to watching Nickelodeon again, too - Fairly Odd Parents is fun.
In honor of the magical disappearing Laura, I want to submit my own reading list from the past month:
Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince The Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul Blood Done Sign My Name Dick and Jane Learn Yiddish and in progress: Libra
Roofers are around and quoting Rush lyrics to me. These things remind me of two people.
But for now: 1. Reply and I'll respond with something random about you. 2. I'll tell you what song/movie/thing reminds me of you. 3. I'll pick a flavor of jello to wrestle with you in. 4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me. 5. I'll tell you my first memory of you. 6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of. 7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you. 8. Pass it on if you feel like it.
PS: John's yard is full of four leaf clovers. I have found five in the past week. :) Therefore, I figured we needed Lucky Charms. Current Mood: nice Current Music: Teitur - Let's Go Dancing

b) Wouldn't it be tripping the time zones fantastic? Just curious, not oooooverly snarky. | From: | (Anonymous) |

3) They don't make kumquat jello at all! I'm beginning to suspect that might have been facetious! The shock!
7) I owned a couple of foreign dictionaries when I was five or six, but started in with French in second grade. Ah, a parochial school run by French-Canadian nuns. I still remember the song about how much I like steak. Or "bifteck," if you will. | From: | (Anonymous) |
